I have on good authority that a rebuild is underway on a top show van which may be in the running for top van at the 2013 VAN NATIONALS. And of all things it is an Escort van. The 20 year rebuild of another top Melbourne van is complete too, hopefully i can talk the owner into bringing RAT CHASER to the VAN NATS.It looks awsome. Don't like my chances but its worth a try

Looking forward to the ultimate van convoy. Yep, Australias longest VAN NATS convoy is heading to Western Australia. With our group we are looking at around 12 to 14 vans driving across in convoy, come and join this spectacular and join us at the Original and the best van gathering at the VAN NATIONALS in WA. The latest Brute utes and VANS is out, issue number 43. 2 great features, the first one is Daryl Blair's awsome HQ Sandman. This van was at the 2009 VAN NATIONALS and was one of my favourite vans there of the 200 or so vans. It is an amazing looking van and really well put together, the stand out for me was the rear interior, although factory stock, it was immaculate, well done Daryl.
