Let's be honest shall we? doesn't matter how much you do to your van (or other vehicle), it's never finished cos you'll always see something somewhere else that you want too and you'll make sure you save the pennies to do it, so no, no-one will ever finish their van. If they say they have, they haven't look beyond the square....

Re: Describe your ultimate van

I've always wanted to see how a HQ pano would look if grafted with a 2dr HQ monaro, so that the longer doors allowed access to trick rear seats(flush folding) and keep the rear passenger window section of the coupe...
Bodywork would have to be pretty close to XX308, though would have the HQ quarter panel vents. tail lights would be HQ sedan, maybe a spoiler like stormbringer's.
nose cone would be customised HQ statesman, bonnet scoops ford maybe

Black Paint, 2*Gold bonnet strips like the GTS (with that cool pinstripe surround), and Gold Painted HQ/J Sandman side stripes
murals might be something along these lines... (taken off a bike tank and fender... Lucky Caleb)

not much chance of seeing anything like that these days as i'm pretty sure this is the closest i'll get to see it is "hunchback" (SXV where are they now, - hopefully it will be restored and i'll be able to see it for real)
unless this post inspires Nigzy to get creative... in which case the closest will still be a digital copy.

oh yeh santa, i want a chev Gen III powerplant with commodore drive train to match... please santa.
oh yeh i kinda liked the front interior of the VU mambo sandman, so lets go with that, and something modern, classy and practical in the rearterior, with a Decent sound system, A/V and fancy hidden lights...

santa...

santa?

yeh,Agro i'm sure nigzy could... pity i don't have the van or the coupe to do it... lets not forget that even if i did have the coupe, would anyone really be crazy enough to do this? back in the day when both were a plenty sure, but since i was born about 11 years after these vehicles were in the showroom, nigzy's digital version might have to suffice...

nigzy? hint hint
