MOONLIGHT DREAMER

Post by vanner065 on 19/1/2013, 7:31 am

Originally owned and built by Greame Lochart then sold off to Peter (Monk) Campbell, been off the road now for over 20 years, says he may do the rebuild this year, but only time will tell, lets see what happens, but don't expect to see it as it used to be.

Good to see the old van, never took many photos of it in its early show days, to busy cleaning and seting up the van, I would say the top pic would be about 1980-81, tell by the strech jeans and ugg boots lol Laughing Laughing that front was only on there for 12 months, could never turn the lights on due to melting the acrylic ha ha, great learning curve, wait to you see the Bedford that I'm working on, every thing I did wrong on MD will certainatly not be repeated on the Bedi, should be on the road in 12 months, give or take a year Rolling Eyes

Hi James, the build has only just started, but the credit card is getting a work out and the guys at the post office know me very well by now, I am posting photos of the build on the BUGA site, and as you know every body there is very helpfull and love photos, this will be another street driven van again, but a bit more practical this time and less body filler lol, have a large mig now so things will be easier and done a lot better, after 37 years in vans and cars I think I might have the hang of it now Laughing Laughing

cheers
