Vanning Collectables

Post by soundman on 14/9/2009, 7:22 am

I can't think of another thread devoted to the subject of vanning collectables, so i thought I'd kick it off with the latest offering from TRAX http://www.topgear.com.au/product.php?product_id=490
orange HZ Sandman - (not many left).

Also keep an eye out for hot wheels colour changer Dodge custom vans... (2 types, blue/flames or green/camoflage)

Okay so lets share our favourite collectables...
below are a few of mine.

The holy grail (van wheels/SM01 aug-sep 81)...

I've actually have purchased a fair few more since I took the pics (full set of CV&T plus a box of 90s SM featuring Motivator et al etc)

And one of my recent additions... Little Van Goes

Lastly one i don't own.(unfortunately)

hey james i found some more blue ones at DJ's today... the colour changers are bigger packs and about 7 bucks. i have a couple spare if you want to swap something...

below are some i found in my local area over the past year or so... almost feel sorry for a bunch of kids on my side of town that are going to grow up without having little vans to play with. little blighters would probly just wreck them anyway,

Shortbread Gift tins at Kmart

Post by HZSandman on 12/10/2009, 9:57 am

Not vanning related but thought people might be interested. Just came back from Kmart and they have some gift tins with shortbread in them with pictures on the front. Among the pictures available were an HQ SS 4 door in green and a GT Falcon. The pictures are slightly raised. The tins are about 30cm x 25cm and are only $10. Plus you get to eat the cookies. Mmmmm Cookies.
