Bottom Tailgate hinges

gday all, just wondering if anyone out there has a set of bottom tailgate hinges for a hq-wb panno. mine are pretty worn and all the mobs around here either say they cant fix them or they want s#@tloads of cash.
any help would be appreciated.

always a hard piece to get that does not have some sort of movement....btw...hq and hj have short hinges and hx hz wb have the longer hinges...both interchange but the tailgate straps are different lengths..

got a nice surprise last night, my dad got a set of hinges and took them to his mate at the local foundary, he bored the hinges then machined up some new pins which he then pressed and welded in. new hinges with no pl;ay wooohooo, now i can hang that damn tailgate lol Very Happy

Start buying up all the duds for low bucks, sell off on here and EvilBay for some van spending cash!!!

I did a set of mine in a similar way.
Got a pair of Commodore starter bolts.
Sat the hinge in the vice.
Drilled out as required to the size of the thread.
Belted them in and then cut the ends off.
The reason i used these was because after a small amount of thread, the bolt is smooth and it fits in nicely.
Cost me about $2 and about 1 hour of my time.

yeh agro, i probably woulda done it myself in the end, but mine were almost oval lol. and it was a nice surprise.
i heard once that rare spares done a changeover reco set but they were like $250!
neway, will hang the gate this weekend, and try get some pics of my baby up for everyone.
