QLD FLOODS

Post by vanner065 on 5/1/2011, 1:11 pm

I hope that if any of our fellow vanners from this site or elsewhere are not caught up in these devastating floods in QLD and northern NSW. If so take care and we hope everything works out for you, and look after ya van. lol

The latest storm has just passed Redcliffe. The Bonner's are ok. Just spoke to Dad and he said he will be home in about an hour and a half if his next student doesn't cancel. Imagine not wanting to drive in the rain.

Seriously, we are ok. No flooding here. Dad got messages from some vanners near Gympie last night. At that stage they weren't flooded, though it has been raining all night so I don't know if they are still ok.

I can't believe the pictures I am seeing on the TV. Places that we had driven through last week were hit with that wave of water. It is a major shock. Sad

Hope everyone else is ok.
